What a wretched time we inhabit. Hatred toward gay and trans people. Working class people exploited. Animals objectified and brutalized. Humans wage war against the air, seas and earth.

What to do in this period of rising fascism, overwhelming pain and anguish?

Exist. Rebel. Organize. Sooth ourselves when we can.

Honestly, it’s a little bit heavy out there.

This is an EP articulated over the last 18 months of fragments and a single sustained theme - heaviness. Weight, Substance and body.

It isn’t explicitly political - it might be a witchcraft kind of political. It might be a 70s horror kind of political. It might just be subliminally political. But you know - it’s just about making it these days. Creating music is part of making it.

For the earth, for the people, and for the animals.
